Day 7. Gimme Gimme - More Neck

Show off your collar-bones!

Necklines are changing for the better. Think wider, deeper and more angular.
Don't be stuck with just the regular Crew or V - exaggerate them.
In the wise words of Tyra; ' Give me Neck'

By increasing how much we see of the neck automatically elongates the torso and your face appears to be much slimmer than usual. (eliminating (sometimes) that double chin)
Just make sure to give your neck a good scrub before as well as remove any unsightly straggly hairs.

Day 6. Short-Shorts

Inspired by a boy from down-under!

Girls have been having far too much fun over the years cornering the market on showing of their sexy pins! Our time has come gentlemen. Oh it has come.

Summer is all about running around and having the most fun and 'Shorts' or 'Bermuda Shorts' are here to stay. It's been tweaked from years gone by - forget baggy, frumpy, these pleats make me look hippy (not the Woodstock kind either) kinda shorts - opt for the fitted slim leg, bootay accentuating shorter than short, Short-Shorts. Wow for a story about shorts you would think it wouldn't read this long.

Few tips though - make sure you 1. Trim the crazy hair that's been growing wild all winter. 2. Exfoliate - especially your knees (you don't wanna look like you've been scrubbing floors do you?). 3. Moisturise - nobody likes ashy legs- some cocoa or body butter usually does the trick.

Sexy secret - This is one of the better trends to show off scars, - it makes for an interesting conversation starter and who knows where that might lead. Hot!

Warning: Can also be worn to the office, as demonstrated in the visuals paired either with jacket and plain white-t or go real formal with a shirt and tie - just check the company's policy though.

Now go out there and give it your best Naomi Campbell strut! (I did)

Just get one. No, get a couple. They are like Pringles - once you pop you can't stop.

And they are so easy to customise. Here I have in about 5min turned a basic into a
'statement piece in two easy steps.

Day 4. Mono-a-Mono

Same yet different!

Making a huge comeback this season is Mono dressing, (not the sickness) rather Mono-chromatic colours. Think Dulux Pantone chart. What could be easier - get a few colours from the same side of the colour spectrum and Bob's your uncle! Get carried away.

Grape Expectations!
Observe how this is done.
Ever been grape stomping. Hmm. There is nothing like the feeling of round delicious berry bursting and oozing sweet sweet juice between your toes. Hmm. Some to make a nice drink or give it a few months and it will be a delicious wine! Or Ribena! oh yes.
Berry is going to be big this summer!

Day 3. The YAY-Viator

Most Def!!

Mention RayBan and an image of- 'That' cool guy, in blue jeans, white t-shirt and AVIATOR's spring to mind.

These yummie's have been around since who knows when and as a kid, I remember my dad having them (and me wanting them) The only sunnies he would ever wear. My grand-dad too. And who can forget that amazing trip to The Lost City when a 9 year old jjdp rocked some genuine RayBans (borrowed from his God-father) and then um .... proceeded to loose them(whilst unlawfully gambling I might add). Snap! (That's the sound of the belt on my ass.)

Point is - everyone - needs a pair of these in their accessory cabinet - they add that instant 'Cool' factor to any outfit. Trust me - even funerals become a much happier place!

So, if you haven't already gotten yourself (beg, borrow, STEAL) a pair of these perennial

retro-classics. What the hell are you waiting for?!!

Day 2. Bead-Dazzled (Part 1)

Take it from this Afro-politan - the intricate handmade and often incredibly colourful beaded work from Africa will be rocking its way to the top of accessory lists soon.
Already popping up on various runways, spice up something simple with some ethnic fair trade.

Here are a few examples of neck wear that can also be transferred into a sweet hair tie and possibly a belt. (depending if you are a size zero or not) Random experimentation with your make up might also occur. Be fore-warned.

Summer is here and what a better way to say: "I'm ready for the picking" than with a sun ripened pair of Red Jeans. Hot.hot.hot
Make that statement.

Although it took me about a month to find this amazing skinny specimen, it was well worth it. And I'm sure they will be readily available in-stores shortly for all to enjoy.
