Day 112: RED RED RED!

wORKING IT!

It was our debut fashion story and it is just getting stronger. REd jeans baby! hot!

Remember to not busy it up, so keep it simple you want your jeans to be the centre of all the attention. So pair with a black or white top and you are goood to go.

On a side note. Just spent a weekend in Seoul and Red Jeans are everywhere.

It's the new flavour of the month.

Day 111: Summer hair

With temperatures on the rise - its time for a little trim.

Take some off the back and the sides, keep the top a bit longer so that you have more length to play with. (for an updo) and don't forget to layer that sucker up. Create some movement by adding some wax fibre and working it in generously, there is nothing worse than a man with 'gunk' in his hair.

Remember to deep condition at least once a week as the summer sun and wreak havoc on your new-do.

It takes a man to wear bold colour.

I've been trending purple/ violet and lilac for a while and although it is normally associated with the deep jewel tones of winter - times are a changing.

Just like the weather and seasons are being affected by global warming - why not the way we wear colour.

The thing about fashion is that it needn't be difficult. If you find what works for you and you are comfortable in it then that is what you should wear. Forget about trying to be trendy - cos you'll end up looking a fool.

Bowties are the Future - it adds class to just about anything. Wear with jeans, shirt or a polo and you are ready to hit the Upper East side or your local club.

Day 105: Denimy & Delicious

This season, I have nothing but loooooove for Denim! its everywhere and you can wear it anywhere.
I'm doubling it up here with some real workwear/ dungarees and a short sleeved pearl snap denim shirt.
Once again accent with some colour and you are done.

Hightops are also a summer staple for me this season so make sure you have a pair in classic white - for that all American vibe.

I'm gonna push it even further - im gonna go for a tripple whammy next time and try TRI-DENIM-ING.

Day 104 : Maybe Navy

Its easier than you think to rock yall. It's not just a maybe, its a definitely Maybe YES!

Think about it, most of the dark denim washes are already navy so why not pair it up with a navy top - accentuate with some accent colours like red and a quick roll-up and you are go for go. 

Easy. Being Fash-onable aint hard, it just takes practice.

Day 103: Striding into Summer

With Spring just about to leave us but still there with a slight chill, get ready for an amazingly colourful summer of lightweight coats, vests and more colour colour colour than you can ever imagine.

jjdp has just been fashon scouting in Seoul, the capital of Korea and I would even say the Capital of Fash-On in the world. I haven't seen this much creativity in fashion since - well never. Everyone looks like and editorial spread.

So start it off with our firm favourite the Trench but pair it with cool pastels in order to take the summer edge off!

Day 102: Who Am I

Day 101: Back to Basics

Fash-On is not only about what you wear, but how you wear it.

If you are comforatble with yourself and your style then basically anything you wear is a fash-on statement.

They key to comfortablity is to get to know yourself and your best assests. So go out and make friends with mirror!
It's not vanity its introspection people. Find your best assets and also those which you think you can improve on.

And don't be afraid of what is looking back!

Day 99: Mis-underestimated hoodie

When in doubt - go for a hoodie. Its warm, its fuzzy, you can hide in it and if you want to make it a tad more formal just add a blazer and hey presto change-o there you go.

Always have one in a basic neutral, black or grey and then have one that is a statment pop hoodie. I prefer having a zip through as it minimises the risk of you ruining your hairdo when you need to take it off, but to each his own.

Which reminds me - its time for me to get myself a bright red one..

Green is gonna be gargantuan this Spring.

Take note now! And stock up on this very fertile colour.

Mix and match and know that mixing 'natural' colours are cool. Go for some brights and then muted colours too. And enjoy playing the part of the Green Lantern.

Day 95: Bright Northern Lights

Everything needs balance. So yes we have the cool plaid winter coat but we also need a statement trench.

Check this electric blue number out. Decked out with other electric colours for Spring.

Crazy bright sox and neon patent leather puma trainers round out the combo to make it burst onto the scene.

It keeps you warm and gives you that just 'fresh from a walk in the woods look'

Day 92: Suprise Snow

So, yes its supposed to be Spring but the occaisional flurry does happen. What then?

Grab an oversized coat, and i mean oversized and slap a belt on it.
Instant layering and you look uber cool with one of the seasons hottest trends for men.
The belted waist. Trust me it might take a couple of months to catch on - but you read and saw it here first.

Day 91 : Scarlett Fever

While we are trending Colour.

Get some Scarlet into your wardrobe. It's easy, fun, warm and it exudes power.
Pair with grey or black skinnies as well as blue jeans and you dont really need anything else.

The amazingness of the colour speaks for itself.

Day 90: Accessor-EYES

One of my FASH-ON rules is that you can never have tooo many accessories.
So just add some individuality to what you are wearing with some funky sunglasses, hats and gloves.

Here ive got some oversized aviators, a furry Monglian hat, and some half - leather gloves.

See, quick easy and effective.

Day 89: Warm Up!

So when leaving a really warm country in the midst of summer and then relocating about 10 000miles away to another hemisphere one always has to ensure that you stand out. And in a good way too.

So yes, pack some of those grey's and black staples but you also have to stand out with some Warm Hues that are guaranteed to make you look and feel better by bringing some light into others lives.

Here I've gone for a classic Pringle of Scotlans 100% lambs wool jumper in a bery bright and delicious juicy strawberry. Now who does'nt want to tuck into a bitta that.

Day 88 : Prelude to Spring

Since last shooting for Jarrod-In-Wonderland, JJDP has really actually moved to wonderland!

The artist has relocated to South Korea and is on a Fash-on adventure amongst other things.

So here we go, emerging from winter in the northern hemisphere is a wonderful Spring Promise of colour, accessories and Fun Fun Fun. Cos thats what FASH-ON should be. FUN
