I took one.
A really big one.
I wore a weave and went out into the real world.
No-one knew. It was very liberating.
And I think I will be haning onto this baby for some emo/grunge/native fun!

Day 53. Grungier than grunge
Yes folks - the 90's are back!
Well the good bits from it.
Get your rock gear and start the headbanging all. In between leather sessions and singing about OD'ing get yourself
together a look that screams of Kurt Cobain and the like.
Here JJDP is rocking - basic blue overalls (gonna be big yall), white t, black hoodie and enough teenage angst to make you cry!
also not the patent leather embellished high-tops and the allure it gives.
Rock on dudes.
peace.

Day 52. Hippie Hair
I have recently acquired a new look. Can you guess what it is.
Ding ding!
So instead of just rocking the nu-do as per norm, why not get one of your favourite scarves and do a side-tie in order to spice things up.
It's indie, its rock band and it's good to keep those fly-away hairs in check too.
Now all you have to do is run around a field of daisies and you will be in nirvana!
peace.

Day 51. I am - a designer
There is something to be said for making something your own.
Nothing bores me more than people who just wear things the way they bought them in the store.
Urrrrgh! boring!
For my creation above, I literally took a white t shirt, a page from a children's colouring book and a sharpie.
I traced the lovely kangaroo and hey presto chango - I have one of the most unique t-shirts around.
The amount of great feedback and omg where did you buy that comments are too many to mention.
Stop being a sheep people - trailblaze and become the kanga you know you want to.
peace.

Day 50. Thaaat White Shirt
Hmm!
As with the plain white t, you can never own enough white shirts!
Once again spend some extra cash and get them in nuanced styles - a different collar, stripes, fabrics etc.
Personalise!
And did I mention that special magic power they possess when they 'accidentally' get wet?
Have fun!

Day 49. Pants! (under)
I've always had a song in my head when ever I'm getting dressed and I think that if I possibly sell it as a jingle I could make millions.
It goes ' underwear, you can wear it anywhere' ( well possibly not a nudist beach but what'evs)
Anyway - underwear is crucial - no commando here. Therefore it is always wise to pay a little extra for these bad boys.
I am a bit of a stickler for tradition here - I like em 100% cotton and amazingly enough from the Gap. Flashy underpants are a bit unnecessary and with sooo many knock-off's floating around the street markets - people are more likely to think that you got it for cheap
than invest. (that's not to say some calvin's or boss would go unappreciated.)
They have an excellent range and in great colours too. I primarily go for neutrals like black, white, grey and then I like to spice it up
with bold colour stripes. It makes for a good peekaboo - if your undies sorta match what colour you are wearing.
They also make for perfect lounging around attire for when you are having those I just want to roam around your bed/hotel room days.
peace.

Day 48. Cut-off point
We have all been there.
Our favourite pair of jeans, ripped, torn, stained and well a bit scraggly at the bottom from too many nights out and well too many bouts of puddle jumping.
Alas the solution has arrived and what has frankly been a summer hit - for everyone.
The Cut-Off. hmmm. But before you run off and take a scissors to you beloved make sure that you really want to.
As once you made the first snip there is not going back.
Go for a cut just below you knee - it's easier to judge from here. Better going a bit longer than too short. Then evaluate.
Leave room for a roll up and know that you can do as many as you want!
Now all you have to do is fray the edges for that authentic antiquey look and you are set with a summer staple that can be worn with t-shirts, shirts, blazers - just about anything!
Have fun - and remember no running with the scissors!
peace.

Day 47. Layered - Like an onion
Layering
Nothing beats a bit of fresh Air - and where better to get it than in the country.
Also rife breeding ground rife with not only sheep, awesome fantasies and adventure. But also a good example of how good layering works inbetween work and having fun!
Above is an outfit that would rock in both town and country.
Its all in layering
Take one pair of standard skinny jeans, logo t-shirt, plaid shirt, hip tie jumper, and a warm coat. Add to that some fingerless gloves and an awesome Indiana Jones hat and you are ready to roll. (possibly in the hay, but hey - that's what your are there for)
Live it up and remember the cool thing about layering is that you can always take something off!
peace.

Day 46. Candy coloured HighTop
What can I say. I like my footwear.
Last count I'd say I had about 50 pairs that I was aware of. And that's just with me here in London. Hmmm.
But everyone has an occasion.
So where does a pair of canary yellow patent leather high tops fit in. Perfectly. Perfectly.
It needs no explanation - put them on your feet and you are guaranteed instant attention - because everyone will be insanely jealous of your kicks.
Worn with plain blue jeans or if you want to shock everyone around you - go with a multicoloured outfit in all of the colours in rainbow.
The choice is yours - and you love it.
peace.

Day 45. Denim Jacket
You will be glad you got one.
With the nights getting a bit nippier, you need a casual jacket that you can throw on with anything. Possibly you do not want to go to formal and that's where this beauty steps in. It's a perennial crowd pleaser and with the return denim in a big way for Autumn/Winter you are assured casual coolness.
Dark rinses work well and you can offset with any blue jean - or you could go with stonewash but this dates a bit easier.
Pair with aclassic rugby polo as in the shot and its perfecto for a Saturday in the park, or having lunch with the family.
Peace.

Day 44. RetroRed
Wayfarer Glasses.
These babies have come standard with any trendy around since about 3 years ago. But then it was all in
Change it up and get some with a strong colour as the top frame and make it work!
Turn your ordinary accessory into a statement piece.

Day 43. Brown Brogues
Another Menswear essential.
Works especially well with black or navy. Sockless should also be tried.
Polish and treat leather and it should last you a lifetime.

Day 42. Army Green
Right we all know that living in the urban jungle requires alot. Especially in the fashion arena - sometimes when everyone is shouting at the top of their lungs in vibrant hues - the ones that stand out the most are often those making the least.
A great way to recharge and plan an style ambush on those out their is to psych them out by laying low for a day or two. Yes people I'm going somewhere with this.
Instead of wearing your trademark skinnies - go for a mono approach. Think Army. Think camouflage. Look to foliage and nature for the winning strategy.
Here I have thrown together a pair of ripped moss rinsed baggy jeans, a basic round neck fitted t shirt, upped the stakes with two-tone scarf - accent colour is beige and a deep-fill military inspired hat.
I said lay low - not play dead - accessorise it up.
Don't be afraid to throw in some muddy browns either.
Attack.
peace.

Day 41. The PoCoDot!
Dedicated to Torah!
Yearning to be liberated from ladies wear only - this little dot has made it mainstream and into the wardrobes of boys.
It's a bold statement to make and you have to ensure you don't look like a clown - but if you get it right you will be the most stylish man in the room.
You can also interpret this trend in many other ways - if you aren't brave enough to rock too much.
Opt for a scarf, hat, belt or even some gloves - you don't need to overhaul - just update with niche pieces. No need to look like a Dalmatian wannabe.
I've paired this baby with a pair of khaki flat fronts and a cardigan for an afternoon look - or be more dramatic and pair with white skinny jeans, brown belt and patent leather brown brogues.
