Day 101: Back to Basics

Fash-On is not only about what you wear, but how you wear it.

If you are comforatble with yourself and your style then basically anything you wear is a fash-on statement.

They key to comfortablity is to get to know yourself and your best assests. So go out and make friends with mirror!
It's not vanity its introspection people. Find your best assets and also those which you think you can improve on.

And don't be afraid of what is looking back!

Day 99: Mis-underestimated hoodie

When in doubt - go for a hoodie. Its warm, its fuzzy, you can hide in it and if you want to make it a tad more formal just add a blazer and hey presto change-o there you go.

Always have one in a basic neutral, black or grey and then have one that is a statment pop hoodie. I prefer having a zip through as it minimises the risk of you ruining your hairdo when you need to take it off, but to each his own.

Which reminds me - its time for me to get myself a bright red one..

Day 98: Moss Rocking the Hue like Kate

Day 96: Green light

Green is gonna be gargantuan this Spring.

Take note now! And stock up on this very fertile colour.

Mix and match and know that mixing 'natural' colours are cool. Go for some brights and then muted colours too. And enjoy playing the part of the Green Lantern.

Day 95: Bright Northern Lights

Everything needs balance. So yes we have the cool plaid winter coat but we also need a statement trench.

Check this electric blue number out. Decked out with other electric colours for Spring.

Crazy bright sox and neon patent leather puma trainers round out the combo to make it burst onto the scene.

Day 94: Coat of Arms

For def invest in one of these babies too.
A versatile lambs skin Plaid all weather warmer.

It keeps you warm and gives you that just 'fresh from a walk in the woods look'

Pair with bold pops of accenting colours like orange or yellow and you are good to go.

Day 92: Suprise Snow

So, yes its supposed to be Spring but the occaisional flurry does happen. What then?

Grab an oversized coat, and i mean oversized and slap a belt on it.
Instant layering and you look uber cool with one of the seasons hottest trends for men.
The belted waist. Trust me it might take a couple of months to catch on - but you read and saw it here first.

Day 91 : Scarlett Fever

While we are trending Colour.

Get some Scarlet into your wardrobe. It's easy, fun, warm and it exudes power.
Pair with grey or black skinnies as well as blue jeans and you dont really need anything else.

The amazingness of the colour speaks for itself.

Day 90: Accessor-EYES

One of my FASH-ON rules is that you can never have tooo many accessories.
So just add some individuality to what you are wearing with some funky sunglasses, hats and gloves.

Here ive got some oversized aviators, a furry Monglian hat, and some half - leather gloves.

See, quick easy and effective.

Day 89: Warm Up!

So when leaving a really warm country in the midst of summer and then relocating about 10 000miles away to another hemisphere one always has to ensure that you stand out. And in a good way too.

So yes, pack some of those grey's and black staples but you also have to stand out with some Warm Hues that are guaranteed to make you look and feel better by bringing some light into others lives.

Here I've gone for a classic Pringle of Scotlans 100% lambs wool jumper in a bery bright and delicious juicy strawberry. Now who does'nt want to tuck into a bitta that.

Day 88 : Prelude to Spring

Since last shooting for Jarrod-In-Wonderland, JJDP has really actually moved to wonderland!

The artist has relocated to South Korea and is on a Fash-on adventure amongst other things.

So here we go, emerging from winter in the northern hemisphere is a wonderful Spring Promise of colour, accessories and Fun Fun Fun. Cos thats what FASH-ON should be. FUN

Day 86: Tried and Trusted with a Twist

Polo-shirts & Chino's=perfect fallback. Add a bowtie & you're ready to serve WhiteKing & Country.

Also wear with longer coloured socks and boating shoes.

Try muted rich jewel tones as we enter Spring and as soon as the summer sun is out - go for a POPTASM colour overhaul.

Try and include as many different textures to this journey as well, as you don't want to look as though you just walked into a store and bought everything off the rack.

Day 84: TheRedQueen

SMyze

Everyone knows I'm a huge fan of Tyra and this is one of her rules that I really try to apply in every picture I take.

Smyze - smiling with you eyes. A good tip is to take a deep breath in when the photo is taken - it automatically lengthens you, your eyes open a bit more and you look more alive. (and not to mention seductive).

Or you can just combine with your best Zoolander moves too. haha
Radiate in pics by smiling with your eyes & giving it your best LeTigre, Ferrari or MAGNUM!

Day 83: Don't loose your head

Resist bold branding.
Simplify & keep your ensemble timeless & intriguing.
This leaves you more room to dress creatively without the curse of a great big flashy logo. Don't get me wrong, there is a time and place for logo's but individuality and not conformity rules.

Get it right - use vintage, new, borrowed, weird and quirky items and create your own fashion style!

As above, shirt - charity shop, scarf - vintage store - camden, jeans - diesel - they were full length but i cropped them just above the knee!

Day 81: TheWhoreMouse

Shorter, sharper & slimmer tailoring takes the edge off in the heat. NB! The belted waist

Shorts are going shorter, and more fitted so make sure you legs are also up to the challenge. Take the stairs at work, walk home and go for a run.

The belted waist is going to be huge for men this year so get used to it by adding it to various tailored pieces. Remember men used to wear belts over garments well before woman as hollister for their weapons. Don't be afraid - you'll be be tres Fash-On forward - so take the lead!

Ricochet this "Inbetween" hue in every direction

Grey and gunmetal is is one of the easiest trends to wear this Spring. It provides a great opportunity for transition from the very dark colours we have been wearing during Winter and offers a brightness but still adding depth.

You can play around with as many different shades as you wish and add accents of black and white as well to make it pop. Try going for a metallic shine as well as it is sure to get some more attention.

DAY69: Ahoy Sailor

Ankles are in this Spring/Summer

Be effortlessly classic & show some ankle ala uber trendsetters from Europa whilst you swan around town this year.

A good boating shoe is a Men's fashion must! Paired with shorts or khaki's, with a t-shirt and jeans or with a dress shirt - it's all good in the hood.

Ensure you get real leather and choose a classic colour combo as above. Also get the leather after care products too, as these babies don't mind getting wet - but they still need care. You might also want to branch out into a more poptastic pair which have just been released in lumo yellow, purple and even avatar blue.

They are mostly worn sockless to show off as much of your ankle as possible.

DAY68: InVESTment

Vests are very versatile and are the perfect lazy summer day lounging essential.

Not to be confused with the undershirt or wife beater which are usually white, vests or tank tops are making a huge comeback this year in men's fashon. Try and get them in as many colours as you can. I would suggest go for a couple in basic black as they go with everything, from jeans - to shorts, and will take you from the beach to a barbeque with you friends in no time. Just throw a shirt on and there you go. I've got them in the brightest colours citrus, cerulean, perissmon and aqua. Make an impression, and show off some skin!

DAY 66: Nuveau Hair - Revamp yourself with a new light-as-a-feather Do!

I'm not gonna lie - having a new hairDo can work wonders for self esteem and overall sunny disposition-ess.

Right, firstly its good to be back, and how better to celebrate than with a updated and funkified cropped mop! As we are venturing into Spring - it is time to loose that Neanderthal mane that you have neglected all winter and go for a little trim. It will do wonders for the actual health of your hair too. Get rid of all that winter damage!

I've opted to go for a shorter feathered back which you can turn up or down, and a longer bang in front. Which allows one maximum versatility!

I've been having soo much fun with this newer me and always keep people guessing as to what look I'm going to sport next.

Make sure you get a great cut from you stylist and you are 90% there!
